Know your Physician

Dr. Chinnappan is a graduate of Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, India. Subsequently he trained in Internal Medicine and Subspecialties in the United Kingdom for four years and after passing series of most competitive examinations, he acquired the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom. In the USA, he completed the Internal Medicine Residency training from Columbia University program at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Connecticut and he passed his American Board of Internal Medicine Examination in 2002 in the top decile. He has received additional training in subspecialties including Cardiology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Hospital Medicine.  He has published as first author in international peer reviewed medical journals.
